Meander is evolving
How Meanderings is changing
Dear friends,
If you’re new: Meander is a magazine for bioregional culture, slow living and regenerative futures. Meanderings is its companion letter – the place we think out loud between volumes. Both are about to grow, and I want to lay out how.
We’re becoming more than a magazine.
Three things are changing.
The magazine is going annual. One volume a year, given the time it truly deserves, rather than racing to the next. Fewer print issues – but a deeper one each year, and far more between them. Vol 3: Wildness is the first of this slower rhythm, and it’s out on 4 June.
Meanderings is growing. Until now it’s been reflections from behind the scenes. From here it expands to carry the magazine’s stories too — a weekly edition of stories, rafts and reflections. That fuller Meanderings becomes a paid subscription, directly supporting the contributors and human stories at its heart. Alongside it stays a free monthly letter: the highlights, a taste of what’s inside.
Meander is branching outward. A quiz to map your own wildness is launching soon. A course is taking shape. A land-based project is beginning. Going annual is precisely what frees the energy for all of it.
If you’ve been here a while, thank you – none of this happens without you. If you’ve just arrived, welcome; this is a good moment to join us. Either way, the best way in is simple: subscribe below for the free monthly letter, or take the full weekly edition and help fund the work.
Thanks for Meandering with us.
Tom
